A Tough Decision

While we were gone to Utah on our last Trip, a great family, the Rowleys, tended Dukati for us and just fell in love with her. The Rowleys have 9 Children from Kamdin's age to Jesse's age and they all really enjoyed Kati. When I went to pick her up they said "If you ever consider giving Kati up we would love to have her, she is a great dog for the kids and they love her". I didn't think too much about it at first but after we talked about it, we began to realize what a great opportunity it would be for Kati to have all that love and attention 24/7. When we talked it over with Jesse and Tone, they weren't to happy about it and were a little dissapointed because they all (Baylee, Jennie and Boston too) love her so much. The deciding factor for us was that she spent so much time in her Kennel while we were at work.
When Rowleys came to pick her up, she was beyond excited. She passed out licks and kisses right and left and was literally jumping for joy. We miss her but requested visitation rights, especially when Baylee is here.

You are a great animal passer-on! I am currently sitting by Prissy, the ADORABLE kitten you felt guilty keeping for similar reasons five years ago. Can I just say Baxterland wouldn't be the same without her? (Probably because she thinks she's the Queen...)

Anyway, Thanks again for the awesome cat! And I'm sure your Kati will fare as well or better:)

I am glad to see her so happy! I know she'd never want to come back here after living with such an awesome place to run and play! I do love Kati and appreciate you giving her a home there for as long as you did! We still haven't told Baylee and don't plan on it as long as we can have a visit with her when we come I think that'll be best! She has a hard enough time knowing Kati can't live here but is ok knowing she's at Mimi's house ... so it will stay that way in her mind :) Don't worry about the boys either ... Kati is in a good home and we're ok with that! Love you so much!

Goodbye to Kati:( I am glad that she won't be harrassed by Cocoa anymore, and she'll get lots of attention from those kiddies! But sad to see her go...
